mkinfotech built the Interview AI Coach app as a Free app. This service is provided by mkinfotech at no cost and is intended to help users prepare for IT and software industry interviews through question banks, coding practice, AI-powered practice, mock interviews, and interview feedback.
This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you use Interview AI Coach, why it is used, how it may be shared with service providers, and the choices available to you.
1. Information We Collect and Process
We do not require you to create an account or provide personally identifiable information to use basic features, unless a particular feature requires it.
Depending on the features you use, the app may process:
- Interview questions, answers, and practice responses.
- Voice input when you use voice interview or speaking features.
- Selected job roles, technologies, topics, difficulty levels, and interview preferences.
- Practice history, scores, progress, and performance information.
- Information you voluntarily enter into the app, such as project details or resume-related content.

- Technical, diagnostic, and crash information collected by applicable third-party services.
Please avoid entering passwords, financial information, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive personal information into interview answers or other free-text fields.
2. AI-Powered Interview Features
Interview AI Coach may use artificial intelligence to generate interview questions, evaluate answers, provide explanations and feedback, create follow-up questions, and support mock interview sessions.
Depending on the implementation and device availability, AI processing may occur on the device or through a third-party cloud AI service. If a cloud AI service is used, the text or other content required to answer your request may be transmitted to that service for processing.
If Google Gemini, Firebase AI Logic, or another Google AI service is used, information submitted to that service may be processed according to the applicable Google privacy policies, terms, and service-specific data handling practices.
AI-generated responses can contain mistakes. The app is an educational and interview-preparation tool and does not guarantee employment or the correctness of every AI-generated response.
3. Microphone and Voice Data
The app may request microphone permission when you choose voice-based interview practice, voice answers, pronunciation/speaking practice, or other audio features.
The microphone is activated only for a feature that requires voice input and is initiated by the user. Interview AI Coach does not intentionally use the microphone to continuously listen to users in the background.
Voice input may be converted to text using Android speech-recognition capabilities or a third-party speech-recognition service, depending on the feature implementation and device. Where a third-party service is used, the audio or resulting speech data may be processed according to that provider's privacy policy.
4. Information Stored on Your Device
The app may store information locally on your Android device to provide features such as interview history, completed questions, scores, selected topics, preferences, and other app data.
Local information can generally be removed by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app, subject to Android device behavior and any data that may have been processed by third-party services.
5. Third-Party Services
Interview AI Coach may use trusted third-party services for functionality such as AI processing, speech recognition, text-to-speech, advertising, analytics, crash reporting, security, hosting, and application infrastructure.
Depending on the version of the app, these services may include:
- Google Play Services - Google Privacy Policy
- Google AdMob, if advertising is enabled - AdMob information
- Google Gemini / Firebase AI Logic, if enabled - Google Privacy Policy
The exact third-party services used by a particular version of the app may change. Third-party providers may independently process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
6. Advertising
Interview AI Coach may display advertisements through third-party advertising services such as Google AdMob.
If advertising is enabled, advertising providers may process information such as advertising identifiers, device information, approximate location, app interactions, and diagnostic information as permitted by applicable policies and law, in order to provide, personalize, measure, and prevent fraud in advertising.
Where required, the app will use appropriate consent mechanisms and advertising settings for the applicable region and Google Play policies. Users can manage Android and Google advertising/privacy settings through their device or Google account.
7. Log Data and Diagnostics
In the event of an error or crash, the app or third-party diagnostic services may collect technical information such as device type, device model, Android version, app version, configuration information, crash details, and date/time information.
This information is used to diagnose problems, improve stability, enhance performance, and maintain the security of the app.

Data stored only on your device may remain until you clear the app's data or uninstall the app. Data processed by third-party providers is subject to their respective retention policies.

You can choose whether to grant permissions requested by the app. For example, microphone permission is needed only for features that use voice input.
You can manage app permissions through Android Settings. Some features may not work if the required permission is denied.

12. Children's Privacy
Interview AI Coach is intended for general IT interview and career preparation and is not specifically directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request or intentionally collect personal information from children under 13 through the app.

13. Security
